What is graphene?

Graphene is a single-layer two-dimensional material with a hexagonal honeycomb lattice composed of carbon atoms mixed with sp2 orbitals.

Features: high thermal conductivity, high electrical conductivity, high hardness, high ductility, high electron mobility, far-infrared radiation, antibacterial, non-cytotoxic….

  • High thermal conductivity The thermal conductivity of single-layer graphene can reach 5300W/mK, and the excellent thermal conductivity makes graphene expected to be used as a heat dissipation material for ultra-large-scale nano-integrated circuits in the future.

  • High electrical conductivity – At room temperature, its electron mobility exceeds 15,000 cm2/V·s, which is higher than that of carbon nanotubes or monocrystalline silicon, and its resistivity is only about 10-6 Ω·cm, which is lower than that of copper or silver. The material with the lowest resistivity. Because of its extremely low resistivity and extremely fast electron movement, it is expected to be used to develop a new generation of electronic components or transistors that are thinner and conduct electricity faster.

  • High strength Graphene is the strongest substance known to man. It is 200 times stronger than steel and has a tensile modulus (stiffness) at 1 TPA (150,000,000 psi).

  • Far infrared Graphene can absorb heat from the human body or external light sources, and release light with far-infrared wavelengths back to the body to increase the body’s blood flow rate and blood flow flux, and improve blood oxygen saturation.
